Alzheimer’s Society Research Conference 2016 – poster abstracts

CFAS were recently represented at the recent Alzheimer’s society research conference held in Bristol where two posters were presented.

The first by Dr Sarah Richardson et al. on the study protocol for DECIDE: DEmentia and Cognitive Impact of DElirium. The aim of this study is to understand more about delirium and the effect that it has on memory. 

The second poster presented was entitled “Diabetes, Defective Nutrient Signalling and Dementia: An Epidemiological Neuropathology Approach” by Dr Annabelle L. Chambers et al. This research was conducted using donated brain tissue from the CFAS study.
